Intern in this role will be assisting department head with various matters relating to administrative support in chancellors’ office.
The main responsibilities include
- Administrative assistance: filing, photocopying, faxing, answering calls, receiving and greeting office visitors. Tidy newspapers/magazines. Process travel & expense claims. Order supplies office equipment maintenance (including stationary, pantry supplies), settle monthly bills. Support in travel arrangement (air tickers, hotels, ground transportation, etc.) Logistics support for meetings (reserve meeting room, set up meeting venue, prepare meeting materials and order refreshments, etc.)
- Event supporting: Assist in special projects. Such as event planning (provide logistics support, make reservation on venues, Liaise with related departments and vendors).
