  • Position Summary

    The position plays an important role in fulfilling campus facilities & operation to support NYU Shanghai’s development. S/he will mainly be responsible for and provide support in the implementation, management and development of  hard service of campus operation, including projects, renovation, AC system, lighting, plumbing & Drainage, electrical system, and elevator maintenance, etc. There will be opportunities for him/her to involve into campus facilities maintenance scope and learn systematic campus operation procedure in high educational institute.


    The main responsibilities include:

    • Overview for hard service of campus operation, including AC system, lighting, plumbing & Drainage, electrical system, and elevator maintenance, etc.
    • Efficiently receive/create facilities-related requests of faculty, student and staff by work order system/department hotline/email, assign tasks, trace processes and report analysis data to the supervisor.
    • In charge of projects & renovation of university campus. Coordinate with different departments and vendors, ensuring project quality & timeline achieved as scheduled.
    • Weekly report to campus & Facilities department periodically.
    • Efficiently complete other campus operating tasks assigned by leaders.


    Required Education

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant electrical/mechanical/architecture/engineering or English major; Master’s degree preferred.

    Required Experience

    • 0-3 years of experience in project coordination, new facilities & equipment installations, or building construction, project management, and maintenance operations.
    • PM experience preferred.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Fluent in English and Chinese.
    • Good at cross-cultural communication. Be aware of and respect the cultural differences.
    • Hold strong passion to pursue long-term career development in Campus Facilities management of international university.
    • Practical, collaborative, effective problem-solver.
