  • Position Summary

    The PCI Administrator will be responsible for administering the Program on Creativity + Innovation (PCI) at the operational and communications levels.  This person will work closely with the director and associate director of PCI on all components of the program, supporting, in particular, the following key areas: courses, labs, partnerships, and workshops.

     

    The mian responsibilities include:

    • Operations management (approx. 40%)
    • Logistical support for courses, labs, partnerships, and workshops, including procurement of equipment and supplies, space management, calendar scheduling, and travel planning
    • Communications management (approx. 30%)
    • Maintenance and further development of PCI communications channels, including website, WeChat channel, and other platforms
    • Financial management (20%)
    • Preparation of finance reports for reimbursements and payments to PCI principals, student workers, interns, speakers, and others
    • Relations management (10%)
    • Liaison with other academic programs and centers, with principal focus on working with Interactive Media Arts and Interactive Media & Business

    Qualifications

    Required Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)

    Required Experience

    • Two years of relevant administrative experience preferred

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Google docs/apps
    • Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
    • Willingness to work on occasional evenings and weekends as PCI activities require
